Elgin Vitale found a love of dance at the young age of 2 and hasn't stopped dancing since that day!!! She's no stranger to the Hampstead Community as she proudly represented Hampstead as the 2010 Spot Festival Queen. Ms. Elgin has trained in studios in Wilmington, NC under many talented instructors and has studied jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, clogging, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, and contemporary styles of dance. For 10 years, she danced competitively, traveling across the East Coast performing and taking classes. She also studied Dance Performance for two years at the School of Theatre and Dance at East Carolina University before returning home to become a SeaHawk at UNCW. She graduated in 2014 with a BA in Recreational Therapy and went on to complete her Master's of Healthcare Administration in 2021. She now works as the Senior Financial Analyst for a national mental health medical group. Ms. Elgin has two little girls, Sadie and Lainey, who share her love for dance and can usually be found somewhere around the studio!! Ms. Elgin has been teaching and choreographing for over 10 years and loves getting to share her passion for dance with all!
