Tammy Strutt

unnamed-1.jpg

Tammy Strutt has been passionate about dance for as long as she can remember. She began dancing at age 2 and grew up training at Dream Center Dance Academy on Long Island, New York. As a competitive dancer, she performed at both regional and national levels, developing a strong foundation in many styles—but jazz has always had a special place in her heart.

She went on to dance Division 1 at the University at Albany, where she honed her skills as both a performer and teammate at the collegiate level. After graduation, Tammy returned as an alumni coach for the team, mentoring and inspiring dancers to grow in confidence and artistry.

After college, Tammy moved to North Carolina, where she met her husband, Mike, a U.S. Marine. Now teaching at Just For Kicks, she loves sharing her experience and passion for dance with her students. Tammy strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where every dancer can build strong technique, express themselves, and discover the joy of dance!
