Brittany Brown

Brittany Brown discovered her love for dance at a very early age. At the age of 7, in Southern California, she began her formal training in jazz, high-kick, and ballet with a strong emphasis in the foundational principles of technique through barre and center work. Her dedication to the art form led her to perform and compete across California, Washington, and Minnesota. From 1998 to 2002, she danced with a highly elite competitive team outside of Minneapolis, MN, where her company earned multiple first-place titles in jazz and high-kick, including back-to-back state championships.

In 2002, Brittany was hired as a professional dancer by Disney Japan (Tokyo Disneyland Resorts), a testament to her talent and drive. However, she chose to follow her heart and stay stateside, marrying her high school sweetheart, Joshua, a U.S. Marine, the following year. Together, they traveled across the country, and Brittany continued her dance education in studios from coast to coast.

From 2014 to 2017, Brittany taught ballet at Lawton Ballet Theater, an American Ballet Theatre (ABT) affiliate school. There, she helped bring classic productions to life, including The Nutcracker, The Wizard of Oz, and Cinderella, inspiring young dancers with her passion and experience.

 

A happy wife of 22 years and mother of three, Brittany is also a certified yoga teacher and group fitness instructor. She holds two functional nutrition certifications with a special focus on supporting dancers and athletes. Always a student herself, she continues to expand her skills through Dance Master Class, and monthly private ballet trainings.

 

Brittany is passionate about teaching and believes in the transformative power of dance to build confidence, discipline, and joy. She’s excited to bring her energy and experience to the Just For Kicks family for the 2025–2026 season.
